Every year, the role of a bust is carried by a number of players throughout MLB. Fantasy Owners draft these men with the expectations of a solid, productive year; however, they are left to watch themselves place the once prized name on free agency, and the search for a replacement officially begins.
Below are five names who I believe could very well be considered busts for the 2010 season. Who should be avoided early on in your Fantasy Baseball draft this year?

After being acquired by the Boston Red Sox in a trade in the 2008 season, OF Jason Bay took advantage of his first full season in the American League.
Bay has always had Fantasy value as a RBI machine and home run hitter, with the potential to steal bases, yet in 2009 he set career highs in home runs and RBI.

Each and every year, a group of players rises to the occasion after a season of dismay or uncertainty. Some are brought up through the farm system; others come back from a major injury.
No matter what the case, they always have the potential for greatness. This is why we call them “sleepers”.
Today, we have five hitters who could be waiting for their names to be called on Fantasy Baseball Draft Day. Maybe you could be the one to take a shot and win big.

Ben Sheets was, at one time, one of the best starting pitchers in all of baseball. He was a guy that the "Brew Crew" could count on for plus-plus performances...kind of. Those plus-plus games came only when Sheets wasn’t dealing with some nagging injury, which was quite often.
Now, coming off of a lost season in 2009, Sheets is setting up shop by the Bay in Oakland. With this move, what can prospective Fantasy Baseball Owners expect from this (occasional) stud?

Entering his ninth year in the Major Leagues, 3B Chone Figgins has solidified himself as one of the best leadoff men in baseball.
Figgins has always had Fantasy value as a base stealer with the potential to hit .300. Yet in 2009, entering the final year of his contract, he took his game to the next level. Often overlooked in Fantasy drafts, Figgins put together one of his best years.
