The relief pitcher, like its cousin the starting pitcher, is an essential tool for any Fantasy Baseball owner to possess. Any championship-caliber squad will usually contain anywhere from two to three relievers, as a few solid closers provide much-needed fantasy points at the end of each of their respective contests. 

In some leagues, a save can account for as many as 10 fantasy points.
