Week 9 featured reliable Fantasy Football's waiver wire pickups including WR Deverey Henderson (three receptions for 93 yards) and RB Ryan Moats (16 carries for 38 yards, and three receptions for 15 yards and a touchdown).
With Week 10 approaching, here are the next future stars.
Josh Freeman – Tampa Bay: The rookie finally made his
debut on Sunday and did far better than anyone would expect. He threw for 205
yards and had three touchdowns passes.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will travel to Miami and take on the Dolphins. The Dolphins rank 28th in pass defense and allow 247 yards per game.
The Dolphins have allowed 10 touchdown passes, and are allowing
8.3 yards per pass attempt.
Without No. 1 WR Antonio Bryant, Freeman still managed to do very well. With Bryant expected back this week, look for him to have another solid game.
The Washington Redskins will host the Denver Broncos in Week
10. On Monday, Coach Jim Zorn announced that RB Clinton Portis will be
listed as doubtful this week, leaving the rushing attempts to Betts. Fantasy
owners looking for a running back, with the potential to start the rest of the
year, should add Betts.
Wide Receivers:
The Chicago Bears will travel to San Francisco. The 49ers
have the 23rd rated pass defense in the league, and have surrendered
nine touchdowns and have allowed 174 completions, which ranks 23rd
worst in the NFL.
Bennett already has become a focal point in the Bears’ offense,
so look for him to become a viable Fantasy wideout going forward.
Chris Chambers - Chiefs: He struggled in San Diego,
and finally had an opportunity to shine in Kansas City. In his debut for his
new team, Chambers had three receptions for 70 yards and two touchdowns.
The Kansas City Chiefs will travel to Oakland in Week Ten.
The Raiders rank 29th in passing yards per attempt allowed (7.8).
The Chiefs cut WR Bobby Engram on Saturday, making Chambers the No. 3
receiver in Kansas City. Fantasy owners desperate for a dark horse sleeper,
will want to make a waiver claim for the veteran receiver.
Jacoby Jones - Texans: Without the presence of TE
Owen Daniels, lost for the season, Jones stepped in and had a good game. He
had four receptions for 67 yards.
In Week 11 and 13, the Texans will play the Tennessee Titans
and Jacksonville Jaguars. The Titans rank last in passing yards allowed (278)
and in passing touchdowns (21).
The Jaguars rank tied for 26th in the NFL in
passing touchdowns allowed (15) and 26th in passing yards allowed
per game (242). Look for Jones to become a valuable Fantasy receiver in the
weeks ahead. If you have the roster space, grab him and use him on favorable
matchups.

My other receivers are S.Rice, Ward, Boldin and Burleson
If you're really hurting at RB, then you should make the trade. Your other WRs are OK and have relatively easy schedules going forward.
My other running backs are Chris Johnson, Ray Rice, Beanie Wells, and Jamal Charles(which i was thinking of dropping for Shonn Green)
Our league isn't a keeper league just a seasonal one, so you think i should still keep Sims?
I have: S-Jax, Wells, J Charles, S Greene, Buckhalter
FAs available: Betts, Forsett, Fargas, McFadden, Cadillac, Maroney & Morris, Choice & T Jones, Bell, Sproles, B Scott.
Greene & Betts look good for wk 13-15 playoff, but I need at least one good start with S-Jax in wks 10-12. Any thoughts on who to keep/swap for week to week plays and who I should keep for playoffs? Thanks!!
With Boldin having his annual injury rash and with other viable RBs in Chris Johnson and PPR machine Ray Rice, I'd think about it before making the trade then.
Ward would be your only other stud at WR.
You don't want to go into the playoffs with an unbalanced team!
You might want to think about acquiring Kolby Smith if available. Your 2 stud RBs have great week 14 matchups.
Choice was working earlier in the year, but his carries seem to have gone down in recent weeks. I do not like Betts, although Portis is hurt, so maybe he can put ups some numbers.
I think of the guys you listed I like them in the following order:
1) Maroney
2) Morris
3) Betts
4) Sproles
5) Choice
Those Patriots backs are your best options, but your guess is as good as mine as to who will be starting in a couple weeks.
Do not trust the Pats running backs and Choice does not get the opportunities he once did.
Justin Fargas is the sleeper of the group. He has done well over the last two weeks and managed to score a touchdown in Oakland last game.
Ladell Betts is the best choice out of the group. Every time he has had the starting role, he has produced in the past.
1. Thomas Jones
2. Ladell Betts
3. Justin Fargas
4. Laurence Maroney
5. Darren Sproles
Good luck this week and look forward to your next comment.
1)Mendenhall
2)Maroney
3)Charles
4)Sproles
Pick one:
Gonzalez or vernon davis
1. Mendenhall
2. Charles
3. Maroney
I would pick Davis over Gonzalez. Gonzalez is playing the Panthers, who rank 5th best in pass defense. Davis will be playing the Bears. They have allowed 16 touchdowns passes on the year. Look for Davis to continue his stellar year.
Good luck this week and look forward to your next comment.
Meachem
Holmes
Bennett
Tennesse, Oakland, Atlanta, KC, TB
Mendenhall has only topped the 100-yard rushing mark twice this season, and in one occasion he didn't score. Also, Willie Parker may be healthy soon to take caries away from him.At least for this year.
I'd hold onto Walker for now since Boldin has been injured lately and your other WR stud is Ward.
Meachem, Chambers, or Floyd
whats the best choice? Thinking Chambers.
Thanks
Crusher
Who has the best matchup this week?
Good luck this week and look forward to your next comment.
If you need a receiver, I would pick him up, but if you do not need a receiver, then be patient and see how he does this week.
Good luck this week and look forward to your next comment.
The Titans have five interceptions in their last two games and have scored 19 and 25 Fantasy points.
This week they take on a struggling Buffalo Bills team, with a struggling quarterback. Look for another solid outing for the Titans defense in Week 10.
Good luck this week and look forward to your next comment.
He is targeted more and has a better quarterback throwing him the ball, who has time in the pocket. Unfortunately, Cassel has a very weak O-line.
Good luck this week and look forward to your next comment.
If you need a flex pick, I would go with Meachem. Look for Brees to spread the ball around and find Meachem for a touchdown.
Good luck this week and look forward to your next comment.
Qb's:Kurt Warner, Matt Hasselbeck, and Matt Cassel
Rb's: Ryan Grant, Pierre Thomas, LT
Good luck this week and look forward to your next comment.
This is my roster and its a standard league, no ppr
T.Romo, C.Palmer, A.Boldin, M.Sims Walker, N.Burleson, S.Rice, R.Rice, Chris Johnson, B.Wells, H.Ward, J.Charles, and T.Gonzalez
However, it really depends on what the other owner needs. If he needs a RB, I would trade Beanie Wells, and mention his production of late.
Good luck this week and look forward to your next comment.
Good luck this week and look forward to your next comment.
Look for Chambers to be successful in Kansas City and for Cassell to target him in the upcoming weeks.
Good luck this week and look forward to your next comment.
Look for him to have a solid game against the Cardinals.
Good luck this week and look forward to your next comment.
